This Memorandum was signed by the team members present on 2002.12.16. Some errors and omissions were repaired on 2002.12.18, a couple of others have turned up since. Errata

The two teams erred badly by agreeing to (see page 3 of Employer Response October 7, 2002), but forgetting to sign off on, provisions concerning parenthood benefits. We have an informal understanding that this agreement will be implemented anyway. A committee is to recommend by the end of 2003 how to improve the existing parenthood benefits, using EI to limit the cost; in the interim, Human Resources will help members extend the present benefits using EI so far as possible.

VIII.3.3 [reading course stipends] was originally omitted from the Memorandum of Settlement, because the teams had forgotten to sign off on it. This was fixed on 2002.12.18.

In Schedule A [new salary steps], the teams neglected to specify a salary for the new step (D22). We have an informal understanding that it will be obtained by extrapolating from the current steps.

Appendix G - Tenure Stream Faculty Staffing 2002-2005 originally omitted a reference to the double cohort desired by the Administration team. This was fixed on 2002.12.18.

The 2001-2002 Parity Adjustment was inadvertently included in the Memorandum of Settlement by a member of the Administration team. (It's really part of the 1999-2002 Collective Agreement, having taken effect one minute before that agreement expired.) Since it makes no difference, this error has been ignored.
